This worked quite well, as I actually made a few new contacts through people picking up my #swf09 tagged replies.

However the http://search.twitter.com/search?q=%23oekonux back channel from http://www.oekonux-conference.org/ was very quiet, so I guess it depends on the profile of the attendees.</description>
